Lightroom 2: Alt-Tab toggles panels

I'm not sure if Lightroom 2 bugs can be discussed here... anyway...

On Windows, you can use Alt-Tab to switch between open Windows. I use it all the time as it is quicker than using the mouse, especially when bouncing back and forth between a couple of windows.

If you are on the Lightroom 2 window and hit Alt-Tab, it toggles the side panels (as Tab would) and then switches to the window switcher. Not very helpful at all.

Doesn't fix it for me at all. Are you sure you are talking about the same problem? I've had mine on Manual since LR1.3 as I hated the auto switching thing, but it doesn't change the Alt-Tab behaviour.
