Just updated to LR 2.4 from 2.3. Now when I try to delete images from the disk. I receive a message stating that the files could not be moved to the trash. Never have had this problem with any other version. Please help!

[/quote]If your files reside on a network drive, there is no 'trashcan' managment for the file server that is not under Vista's control. The trashcan only is available for local drives. (It might not even be available for attached USB drives) Is the other part of your message, asking you if you "want to delete anyway?" The Vista OS needs you to own the files. If they were created on a USB drive under another owner, you may not have the necessary rights to delete the file. Check the file security and permisions in Windows Explorer. (right click on a file and select <Properties>then the <Security> tab to see what right you and the administrator have.)

Hi Jgibson, welcome to the forum!

The other thing to check is whether they have question marks in the corners - some people have had photos go 'missing' when they upgraded to 2.4, which is under investigation. If so, it's just a case of relinking them.
