Lightroom 1.4 print settings wont save

I am new to the forums, so firstly a big hello to all.

I am having a frustrating time with the print module in lightroom. Try as I might to alter the print settings to print high quality from my sheet feeder, whenver i try to save the settings or go to print it reverts back to my standard settings and prints in draft quality from my paper cassette.

cant work out if this is a printer, os or ligtroom issue - anyone else had same issue?

i have created my own template for print size and and saved it and also updated with current settings.

Whenever I click on the print settings tab on right hand side to amend the preset no matter what i do and save it always reverts to standard and even if i override when i press print it will only ever print based on my standard print set up ie for word processing docs etc

Strange this, I'm having a similar problem with the settings for an Epson R8'' where I am unable so far to save the option for no colour management. I have the latest Epson driver.

I am using LR2 and I'm trying to update a preset.

Any help would be appreciated.
