Lightroom 1.4 - Importing with develop presets

Hi, I have set up specific camera serial number/ISO develop settings. If however during an import I specify a generic preset, do the camera specific settings override this, or are they imported with the chosen generic preset?

Presets override defaults. So if by "specific ... develop settings" you mean that you've adjusted Lightroom's defaults, the presets will override them.

However, remember that presets don't necessarily include settings for all the sliders and switches. Presets will only override defaults for those settings that they include.
