Light table and Perspective corrections

I work as photo journalist and this feature is highly needed:
Light table (like in Apple Aperture)- for organizing photos in one whole story with ability to render them into single PDF/PSD/JPEG.

The second feature request - Perspective (Ctrl+T in Photoshop) and Warp corrections tools.
There is no such tools now in Lightroom and they are quite needed. As for now I need to run Photoshop for such adjustments.

Nothing like LightTable right now, but I don't think it's far over the horizon.

For lens corrections, look at PTLens - set it up as an external editor (in Aperturespeak a "plug-in") and then it's just a right click away.

This is not lens correction. This is perspective corrections (Ctrl+T hotkey in Photoshop). And I don't need PTLens as there is Photoshop with such functionality
But I mean, that it would be great to see this in Lightroom2 along with crop tool.

Anton, I know that the perspective correction is also highly requested. It just didn't make the LR2 cut.

I hope that the Lightroom update/upgrade would have a perspective feature. I often shoot buildings and have to use DxO Optics to straighten out the perspective. It sure would be nice to have do so within Lightroom.

I don't see how images could be transformed in a nondestructive way, though. Transformation is a destructive, pixel-pushing process, and therefore clearly a part of Photoshop's domain, and a far cry from what Lightroom is about.

Just like cropping, perspective transformations could be stored easily in metadata.

It's nondestructive in exactly the same way "Local adjustments" isn't destructive. You'd be able to apply a perspective shift, adjust the exposure and then go back and change the perspective shift. It's very different from how PS does it and exactly in the realm of LR. I've always believed that LR should parallel all photo-specific PS transformations such as perspective, lens corrections... Some say that PS was intended for this, I say put it in LR and charge me more if you have to. Too much time is wasted in the boomerang between LR-PS-LR, you know?
