Library mode - Am I just being dumb?

In beta 2 library mode I can see the images okay but how can I tell what they are called? I can find their names in the Right hand panel, but I can't get the file names to appear at the top of the image ( Like they did in LR2) and there's no longer an option of having an info window in the bottom bar. A little help please?
And why has LR always been the only Adobe program that closes down completely when you press the red button on a Mac? When every other program known to man just closes the window!

Press J to see the extra options like the filename in the thumbnails, and you can personalise the view using the View menu > View Options dialog.
