I have an Olympus Micro four thirds camera and a Laowa 7.5mm wide angle lens.

Adobe have not provided a profile for this as yet, so I need to create my own, or download one someone else has already done...

Am I going to be in luck - has anyone created a profile for this lens?

Most lenses for Micro Four Thirds provide a lens profile to the camera, which then embeds the profile in the raw file, and LR automatically applies that embedded profile:

A google search suggests that perhaps this lens may not have an embedded lens profile. Do you see "Built-in Lens Profile applied" in the Lens Correction > Profile panel?

If not, you can build your own profile using the free Adobe Lens Profile Creator:

Unfortunately, it doesn't run on Mac OS 10.15 (thanks Apple). You'll have to run it on 10.14 or earlier or on Windows (e.g. with a virtual machine on Mac).

Many thanks for the reply, the Laowa is a fully manual lens so has no built in profile like the “electronic” lenses.

I had a look at creating my own profile but Adobe haven’t really maintained this feature - e.g. I can’t find the chequered board test to print out!
I hadn’t seen that it wasn’t compatible with my current OS as well....

I’ll borrow one of the children’s PCs to do it!
