Import Leftover RAW Files Following Import

Operating System:Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
Exact Lightroom Version (Help menu > System Info): 7.0.1 release

I've noticed since the Classic CC has been released that once in a while after import there are remaining CR2 files in my Import folder following the operation.

I import in the following manner:
Copy as DNG

File Handling
Don't import Suspected Duplicates (checked)

File Renaming
Rename Files (checked)
Template (custom)

Apply During Import
Develop Settings (custom)
Metadata (custom)

Organize -> Into one folder

Under Preferences -> File Handling

Import DNG Creation
Compatibility -> Camera Raw 7.1 and later
JPEG Preview -> Full Size
Embed Fast Load Data (checked)
Embed Original Raw File (checked)

Has anyone else seeing leftover RAW files following import? The DNG files are created correctly and contain the original RAW file. Also this does not happen on every image only a few for each import.

With the previous version it seemed to do it in the background and I never saw it copy the CR2 files to the import folder and then convert, seemed to do it on the fly.

Thank you for taking the time to read this as it seems like a bug within the Lightroom Import module.

I'm working with the previous version of LR and what i see is that first the RAW's are coming in (NEF and RAF in my case) and then they are converted aftwards to DNG (and replaced by them). However, i did not notice 'leftovers'.

Correction: In my catalog i found 4 RAF files that where not converted on import. The other photo's from the same shoot are converted correctly. These 4 photo's could (now) be converted and replaces by DNG's without any problems. This never happened before. The photo's are from a very recent shoot b.t.w.
