Layers not showing in Photoshop

Lightroom Classic up to date.

Operating System

1. Windows 11

I can't get layers to show in photoshop. When I add an adjustment layer it affects the
image OK but I cannot see the layer (say to be able to move it in the layer stack.
So I cannot do much in PS. Any help appreciated.

Do you have the layers panel open? That is where you see the layers.

Thank you Johan. Yes I did tick layers in the window drop down menu.
And tried many things but no layers window. Last night I did manage to contact
Adobe and they played around with it - I gave them access to my computer and eventually
the problem was fixed. I don't know what it was as communication was somewhat difficult.
And as I wanted to finish my editing asap I was happy to leave it at that. One thing - I noticed
that when my workspace was changed from "photography" to "Essentials" the problem
did not appear. But all seems OK now. One other thing, maybe not related, pressing f7
does not bring up layers??

If you tick a panel and it does not appear, then usually it is ‘off screen’. This could happen if you used two screens, but right now you only have one screen connected. Another possibility is that you used a larger screen resolution. Choosing a different workspace, or resetting the current workspace, will normally solve this.
