Large printing advice

Hello all.

I'm after some advice on exporting a RAW file for a very large print I want.

I use a Nikon D3'' and shoot in the RAW format. I want to get a print of one of my images in a very large format and unsure what size I should export the file to using the image settings pane in Lightroom.
I want the size of the print to be approx. 3-4 metres wide and 2 metres high.
Any advice is welcome.

Does the production facility have a preference for pixel count? That is 6''' x 4''', something like that, or a megapixel size?

They haven't specified the size other than "as big as possible".

Hi Ian, welcome to the forum!

You could also check whether they will accept just a full resolution file - in the size it came off the camera. Many big labs have much better software for large scale upsizing than LR or PS would do.
