Mine are an absolute train wreck. From misspelled words to Dog and dog etc. Is there a way to just delete them all and start over...without effecting all the previously key-worded images? Pretty sure I know the answer...but...just want to make sure..Thanks in advance for any and all input....

"delete them all"--NO! This will remove keywords from all photos in the catalog!

Examples- to correct the 'Dog/dog' duplicate- you would use the Keyword List to apply BOTH these keywords to photos of dogs, then Delete the unwanted KW.
The same for mis-spelt KWs- Search and select all photos with the mis-spelt KW, add the correct KW to the selection, Delete the Mis-spelt KW.
There is more involved, so see the links below for more info.

An example in screen-clips-
1) Create the 'correct' KW

2) Show & select photos with the 'wrong' KW -

3) Click the 'box' to add the 'correct' KW

4) Photos now have both KWs

5) Delete the 'wrong' KW

If you have both correctly spelled KW “Leica” and misspelled KW “Lika”, then you need to use your original method. Also, you need your method to consolidate images with capitalization issues (“Leica” and “LEICA”)
