Hi;

When I add a new photo, and keyword it, why does it not nest the keyword into the larger keyword structure I previously created? For instance I have bird<Fauna. But when I upload juts bird, it stands alone and I have to go move it to Fauna manually. Help?

How and where are you adding the keyword? This works as expected for me from all places.
I upload images from another LR catalog where I add keywords, just not the one the keyword is nested into. So when I get a good bird photo I edit it in my editing catalog then export to my Master catalog. In the editing catalog I put "bird" but then it gets imported into the Master Catalog "bird" shows up alone, not nested under "fauna" like the rest of the Master Catalog. I have to move it manually. Why does LR not recognize "bird" and nest it accordingly?
