Lightroom Version Number
LC Classic 10.2 and ios mobile LR App
Operating System
  1. Windows 10
Just searched but couldn't find this issue. Have recently started using the mobile app on iOs. Everything syncs fine up to my desktop PC and Classic - except for keywords added.
I'm assuming this is deliberately not enabled but cannot see why. It would save considerable time - I often get chance to add keywords to images on my mobile in downtime and was then assuming they would sync back to the desktop........

Yep, that is deliberate. Keywords do not sync between Lightroom Classic and the Lightroom cloud ecosystem.

Thanks for the confirmation - not sure I understand why this is... flags and ratings sync thus saving time. I thought part of the reason for the mobile app and syncing was to enable work on either mobile app or desktop.

Lightroom Classic is the odd one out. It's an application that was never written with sync in mind, and that caused problems. The main problem apparently is that Lightroom Classic supports hierarchical keywords, and that the Lightroom ecosystem does not. It turned out to be too complicated to find a solution for that. Keywords do sync between Lightroom Mobile and Lightroom desktop.
