Import Keywords being imported with new photos

Hello--

When I import new photos into Lightroom, a set of keywords that I created for a photo in the past is now being imported and attached to all the new imports. I checked to be sure the "Keywords" field in the "Apply During Import" is empty, but the problem persists. Any suggestions?

It should be noted that any keywords (tags) already in the image file (or associated) =XMP Side Car file) will be brought into LrC with the image on import. So, for example, if someone sent you some images that they saved with keywords their keywords will show up in your LrC for that image when you import. To prevent this you can use an import preset that clears any keywords already in the imported image file.
