anyone else notice that when they are adding keywords to a photo or series of photos that when u type the next word you are sometimes taken to a new module or lots of other things happen?

i've noticed this a lot!
is there a way adobe can speed up the keywording so that u can just keep typing words without any changes or activation of keyboard shortcuts?

whats happening is that i will type a keyword, hit enter, and then go to type another keyword but since the last one has not finished processing, the letters i type take me to a short cut instead :(

i know i should slow down a bit, but i'm not really a faster typer than the next person.
just wondering if adobe can speed up the writing of the keyword :)

Hmmm, where are you typing the keywords? Are you really on 2.' per sig?

With 2.2, and typing in the 'Click here to add keywords' box, it doesn't lose focus after hitting enter to commit a keyword. Enter on a blank entry does, tho'.

i think i'll need to update to 2.2 then :) will get around to it eventually...

And over the 'Click here to add keywords' box there is a bigger text box where all entered keywords accumulate. If you click in there to add keywords you can type for hours before pressing Enter! Just a caution: Do not start typing if everything is highlighted or you will replace keywords already there if any. Start at the end of what is done and separate each keywords with a coma (,).

I have this problem too. I essentially think its a question of Lightroom being generally on the slow side.

i'm happy someone else has experienced this too :)

am also wondering if its my PC speed but then i'm well within the min req!

Do you drive your car fast too ???????:lol::lol::cheesy::shock::mrgreen:
