Keyword problem

Hello all

Ive got a list of keywords saved in a .txt file but when I try to import them LR shows a message confirming that it is reading the file but never does.
I've left it running over an hour with no joy!
Any ideas anyone?

Why not open the text file in a text editor and check it's formatted correctly. Try exporting existing keywords to a file and checking the formatting against that. Or post it here and we'll give it a go.

Thanks for the swift reply Victoria. I've tried attaching the file I'm trying to import but get an error report. How do I post it here?

That's an excellent question, and it appears you can't! The only valid extensions are jpgs, so we might whisper in Ian's ear and see if he'll add txt files as an option.

In the meantime, how about copy/pasting it into a post, and we can paste into a text file from there.

I've just emailed it back all working now John. It didn't like some of the spare tab stops which is why it was freezing.
