Keyword issue

In LR1.4, I could select multiple images and type in the keyword, hit enter, and the keyword would be assigned to every image. Now, in LR2, this doesn't work anymore. Anyone else run into this? Is there a fix or a preference?

I haven't had any problems with this (and thousands of images keyworded).

You have to be working in Grid View.

(If you're in the Loupe/Filmstrip, you'd have to 'Sync Metadata') .

If that's not it, can you provide more details?

Right, Grid view. And you also need to have "Show Metadata from Target Photo Only" unchecked (it's in the Metadata menu).

I live west of Wilmington near the Pike Creek area not far from Limestone Rd and Millcreek Rd. Where in Cecil County are you from?

I'm out in Port Deposit, close to where 95 crosses the Susquehanna.

I used to play golf there by you at Delcastle fairly frequently, but my league moved to Deefield, (the old Louviers course up off Paper Mill Rd.)

Small world. I went to high school at West Nottingham my junior and senior year. I live 1 block away from Delcastle Golf course.

Thanks again for your help. I went to the grid view and I was able to add keywords to multiple files. I may also try the sync metadata feature when I'm not in grid view. This is a great forum.
