One of the best ways to speed up your work in Lightroom is to learn the keyboard shortcuts for the tools and commands you use most often.
There's a 5 page list covering all of the known keyboard shortcuts available to download from my website http://www.photoshopservices.co.uk/lightroom.htm
You will never learn all 5 pages of shortcuts... or if you do, I'm worried about you!
But when you start on a repetitive task, use the shortcut sheets as a reference. Over time, your repertoire will grow, and you will become quicker and quicker at moving around the Lightroom interface without having to think about it.
