I've been using Lightroom 2 for a while now and haven't had any problems until I upgraded to OS X Leopard a month ago.

I don't think this is an OS problem because only LR exports are corrupted.

JPEGs are corrupted on export and cause a Finder crash (and relaunch) when they are clicked on or opened in a Finder window to reveal the preview panel. "Fetching..." is displayed for a couple seconds, then Finder crashes.

I thought this went away when I deleted all my export presets and made new ones. It did, for the Library and Develop modules, but Web and Slideshow exports are still corrupt after exporting.

I've made a new catalog, removed all plug-ins, and verified the hard drive already..

Any ideas?

I don't have this issue. What OS version, and what export to JPEG settings are you using?

Have you updated to 1'.5.6 which is the latest Leopard update?

Victoria's suggestion is very relevant, because it was an OS issue with LR generated Jpegs back in the early days of Leopard. LR wasn't the issue, it was how the OS handled the internal metadata.

Great news Dan!

An update to 1'.5.5 seems to have solved the problem of corrupt jpegs on export.

Thank you for the help :)

Did you mean 1'.5.6? Just wanted to make sure you knew there is a later version of OS X.
