It's a new year..time for me to ask again...

I use the folder hierarchy of Drive Letter/Images/Year/Date_Name

I need to make the top level 2''9 folder. Don't I copy an image to the root of the 2''9 folder and import that image alone? That brings the 2''9 folder into the drive letter in the Library module, no?

I did it three times.. can't get the 2''9 folder to show up and need to do that before I import todays shoot...

If the folder in question is like this:

x:\images\2''9 which will be alongside

x:\images\2''8 and x:\images\2''7 etc. ?

Then try right-clicking on the 'images' parent folder in the Lr folder panel and choosing
"Create folder inside 'images'... "

Although, what you're doing should also work. Not sure what's up with that.

Thanks Brad.. figured it out..

I was importing without selecting "Add photo's to Catalog Without Moving"..

Changed the File Handling and it worked fine.
