Issues with Export settings

Hi All

I have recently upgraded to LR2, and now when I export an image to Zenfolio I have noticed that the EXIF data is not there, AND is showing that I have apparently processed the image in AdobeRGB space and to sRGB as it should be.

On that image (Blue Tit), if you hover over in the righ hand corner, you can see that there is no EXIF data present. This has only started doing this i.e. not including the EXIF and showing the wrong Colour Space since I have upgraded to LR2.

Whereas, if you look at this image, the EXIF is there and Colour Space is correctly indicated.

Did you update to the latest Zenfolio plugin?

Hi Victoria

Well, I am currently running .2' and the plug in manager informs me there is a new version .28 available. However, when I click the download and install button, it does just that, and then tlls me I need to reinstall the plugin or restart LR. So, I reinstall the plugin using Author Tools menu (as stated) and I still only see version .2'

For some reason the plugin isn't upgrading. I have tried downloading the file manually to mey desktop, then selecting that file from the plugin manager, but still no joy.

Update:

I removed the .2' plug-in, downloaded the .28 version and reinstalled this version which is now up and running.

However, I still get the same issues when uploading to my Zenfolio account. No EXIF data present and the colour space is reported incorrectly.

Can you post a screenshot of all your export settings?

Do you mean the screen one sees when one Exports in LR? If so here it is...

Hi MusicMan, sorry, bit behind with threads at the moment. You wouldn't believe I'm actually supposed to be on holiday! LOL

Things to try:

1. Remove the Mogrify addition, and try a few test images without that, to narrow down which plugin is causing the issue.
2. Manually download the latest Zenfolio update as the automatic updating got broken with 2.1. http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/zenfolio/

And if that doesn't do the trick, I'd drop Jeffrey a message on his blog, as he's probably a better one to help with this!

Well, I found out what the issue is, now just have to remedy it. It's the LRMogrify plug-in! When I disable this plug-in, all the correct EXIF data is exported with the original image - both to disc and Zenfolio, but when this plug-in is enabled, there's no EXIF.

I shall have to upgrade to LR2.1 and try with this version and if I get the same errors I shall email Tim.

as I have exactly the same problem but with Mogrify itself I would love to see what are the results of your test. I will do it in the evening at home

Oops, I haven't needed to use LRMogrify recently, and so haven't yet emailed Tim. I shall send an email later tonight and report feedback as soon as I receive it.

I did use LRMogrify on the weekend, together with the Zenfolio plug-in - and again, the EXIF data was not present and so I decided to export with minimal exif data.
