I have a lot of videos ttakent on IPhone over the past several years. They are all tagged with keywords. My goal is to put them in LRC with the kW work I have done.

I have tied exporting with" KWs, titles, and discretions" and "Location information" checked. When I imported to LRC the location come through but no KW or Titles.

I tried exporting "Unmodified original" with "Export IPTC as XMP checked. When I import into LRC the XMP sidecar file shows in the LRC metadata panel but no keywords or title come through. I really don't care about the titles, but the KWs are important.

Is there and plugin or something to put these KWs on my videos.?

Unfortunately, neither Apple Photos nor LR fully implement the XMP specification with respect to videos (ironically, Adobe defined the XMP spec). Photos puts the keywords in .xmp sidecars rather than embed the XMP fields inside the video. And LR doesn't read the XMP fields, either from inside the video or a .xmp sidecar.

I can think of only two possible solutions:

- Export the .xmp sidecars from Photos. Use Exiftool to extract the keywords from the .xmp sidecars into a CSV file, one line per file, with two columns, filename and keywords. Use the LR/Transporter plugin to import the CSV file, applying the keywords to the specified files (videos). I wouldn't recommend this unless you are fairly experienced with command-line scripting.

- Use the Any File plugin to manage your videos. It will import metadata from the .xmp sidecars. You'll be able to play the videos using an external video player by typing a single keystroke, but you won't be able to play them inside LR or do the limited editing of the videos allowed by LR.

The Avalanche program has been reported by many to do a very good job of migrating iPhoto and Aperture libraries to LR. They've been saying for the past year that migration from Apple Photo to LR is "coming soon" -- if they implement that well, that presumably would solve your problem.
