I'm trying out the Beta & I found the 1:1 preview useful for checking sharpness.

I use the arrow keys to advance to the next image while in 1:1 view and the mouse to move the loupe to check sharpness in diff parts of the image. I'm right-handed & using my left hand to work the keyboard and right hand to work the mouse ... it's rather awkward.

Is there a keyboard shortcut I can use to move the loupe around the frame?

Hold down spacebar and drag KC.

But ... but ... I'll still have to use the mouse :(

I want to use just the keyboard ... no mouse.

I am using the arrow keys to progress image to image now ... that's good.

But I only know how to move the loupe (that rectangle thingy in the navigator panel) using the mouse. Can I move the loupe using keystrokes ... no mouse?

Ah ha! Found it!

Victoria ... actually the space bar by itself just toggles the view from full-image view to 1:1 view. When in 1:1 view, I discovered that pgup & pgdn will move the loupe up & down & if combined with the shift key, pgup & pgdn will move the loupe left/right :)

hehehe why isn't in the shortcuts page?? hope this helps others too :)

Not sure why it isn't in the shortcuts list, but it is set up so you can start in say the top left corner and use the Pgdn/up to just continue all across the image it will shift to the next 'column' by itself. You can cover a whole image that way to look for spots or whatever.

Holding shift and doing Pgdn/up will take you by rows with it auto going to the next row as you continue, just the same.

Same on Mac.

Well done KC. I'd forgotten about that!

Page up/down are on the shortcuts sheet, but shift-page up/down isn't, so I'll add those!

here's another cool one I just tripped over ... with caps on, the pgup/dn keys toggle to left/right ... no need to use the shift key :)
