Is LR's file and folder view screwed up, or is it just me who's screwed up?

FolderA contains images 1, 2, and 3

FolderB is a subfolder of FolderA, and contains images 4 and 5

In LR if I click on FolderB, it will just show me images 4 and 5.

But if I click on FolderA, it will show me all 5 images.

QUESTION - How can I click on FolderA and have lightroom only show me images on/from that file/folder level? In other words, when clicking on FolderA, how can I prevent LR from displaying images from subfolders?

When I click on FolderA, I only want to see images 1, 2, 3.

Does this make sense?
