Looks normal on my system. Unless you are talking only about the t-shirt! Canon or Nikon, Pc or Mac? Are you using 3.2 and one of the new Camera Profiles?

It would help if you added such basic info to you Signature.

The answer, Antonio, is...do YOU think it is too red? It may very well be an exact representation of the skintones for these people but you as the photographer/artist also need to make an artistic decision about your colors. People rely on you to make them look good even if you bend reality a bit.

You can attack the reds/magentas with the tint slider or by going into the HSL panel.

There have been some profile issues for some cameras. That is why I ask what you are shooting with, Antonio.

But this image looks normal to me.

Looks ok to me too, not too much. Still, I preffer little less colour in these situations unless I am positive everything in my processing area is accurate(profiles, everything calibrated, etc...)
So, my simple sugestion is to slightly desaturate or selectivelly desaturate (in your case red/magentas ) in order to ensure everybody will see what you ment...usually brain is recognizing color and makes you "see" it right even if some textures are little muted while too much saturation or slight colorshifts are altering this brain function and makes you "see" exactly what is not ok...

I allways preffer to use moderate to low saturation levels or desaturate some colors i find "risky"..
This make sense for web images, for print is a totally different discussion as printers also should be calibrated and some of them have their own issues regarding color so is a totally different discussion.

PS: i just compared color managed to non color managed browser...on the mozilla looks good, on IE non color managed looks little too hot and indeed little too much red/magenta... is your browser color aware?

PPS: looks little underexposed to me too.

1. Don. Thank you. I changed my signature. Now you an see what I own in terms of equipment :lol:
I do use the camera profiles often. Not always. I can't see any substancial changes when I do so. What is 3.2 ?:oops:
So, the image looks normal for you. Great. I like that. :)

2. Gene. Thank you. In fact that is what I was thinking and have done before: go into the HSL panel. You also see the image as "normal". Fantastic.:) I also like you do so. :)

3. My browser is Firefox and it is color aware because I changed ... what was it ? OK I did once. :)
It may look a little bit under exposed because it lacks a bit a Brightness or, am I wrong ? May be you are right, now that I look better at the picture...

Once I bought the calibrator. It came from Porto, North Portugal.
The Eye-One Display 2.
I installed it and I noticed no difference from what I saw in the monitor before.
Perhaps, lurk as I am, it was mis-installed:):oops:
I returned it back to the shop.:oops:
May be I will get one some day. The day I will meet someone who can show me what we can achieve with it.

On my calibrated system (w/Firefox) this looks very fine. I don't think you have an issue. Too bad you have the cars in the background, because I like the full version also.

It would be possible to clone that area but neither I am that kind of photographer, nor I have the skills to do so. :roll:

What could I do ? Very little, unless move to the other window where I am not sure to be free of cars ...

You could have, maybe, gone for a different &#4'2;stop that might have blurred the background more with a longer lens???

And the conclusion, large gamut LCD displays doubled by unmanaged browsers produce this type of shifted and especially hypersaturated effects...
If you see these issues on your monitor inside LR or PS, or when using a color aware browser, you have an issue with you monitor calibration...

I opened the photo with LR, with CS4, with Firefox and with Safari.
I couldn't see any substantial, real, large difference.
I saw the CS4 version a bit more red. Just a tad.
Firefox = Safari. :D

Maybe, just maybe, I am not having a monitor calibration issue.
Unless my eyes or better yet: unless I look and I don't see. :D
Which is - perhaps - the most probable. :mrgreen:

Antonio, is natural that all the apps which are color aware (and all 4 you mentioned are color aware ;) ) to return the same image...
If the image still looks odd to you while our monitors show us correct images, then is your monitor which is uncalibrated properly.

IF it were correct in LR, PS, Mozilla color aware and Safari BUT turned out wrong in IE (non color aware...), THEN it was an issue related to the non color managed browser.

This is my oppinion...
