Please allow me to introduce myself. I am a freelance photographer. My company is Derrick Photography Inc. I started my photography business late in life about eight years ago. I started as a family and children photographer. I had friends asking me to photograph weddings, and the next thing I know I'm shooting weddings. I have also done a magazine layout, multiple events in town and traveling, hotel advertisement, and some work for a newspaper.
Most of my business is through word-by-mouth referrals. Like a lot of people who are photographer friends of mine, the poor economy has had a negative impact.
I am now (a little late) trying to build a website. I have a hosting service provider who offers a website template which would be great for me since my experience with designing and developing websites is near zero. Unfortunately, I cannot use their template, because they told me that I cannot FTP anything to it. I have Lightroom 2 galleries that I want to post to my website, but I can't do it.
I'm now in search for a way of developing my website with the ability to upload Lightroom galleries.
