I have been trying to work out how to replace the Exif data generated by my Scanner with the data I can download from my analog camera and to date cant quite figure out how to do that.
Background info:
My 1VHs camera records the following data which can be exported to *.txt / Excel.
Focal length,Max. aperture,Tv,Av,ISO (M),Exposure compensation,Flash exposure compensation,Flash mode,Metering mode,Shooting mode,Film advance mode,AF mode,Bulb exposure time,Date,Time,Multiple exposure,Battery-loaded date ,Battery-loaded time,Film ID,Title,Date and time film loaded,Frame count,ISO (DX)
I have >1'.''' slides which I am in the process of rescanning again

.
I'd like to replace the Exif data generated by the Nikon coolscan with the real data of the camera.
Ive looked at Exiftool various times but cant quite make out how to use it to write data to a file.
I read the above posts but the solution given is still gobblethegook (sp?) to me. I'd appreciate some help here.
I think (bear with me please) that what I'd like to see answered is how to add 1 item to 1' different files.
Lets assume I have the following 1' picture files.
Pic_''1.tif - Pic_'1'.tif
I want to add Av to the exif of each file and of course the Av values are all different.
Once I know how to manage that I'm sure I can figure out how to add the other items too. Of course this data is to be used in LR.
Your efforts appreciated.
