Increasing exposure during printing

My printer prints nice, clear and color accurate prints. They are, however, always dark. Maybe 1/2 stop or more. I know I can increase exposure in the development module, but this has to be undone after the printing session. As I do a lot of batch printing (3' to 5' prints), this technique is very work intensive and subject to errors as the prints are now over exposed.
Is there anything in the print module that allows inceasing the exposure slightly for that specific multi print session? I've tried setting the print driver brightness setting but it only holds the setting for a single print. I hope this question is clear.

Are you happy with prints from other sources, say a local lab?
I ask that as a cross-check on your monitor brightness setting. If that's incorrect, that's another potential cause of print exposure problems. Do you calibrate you display(s), and if so, is brightness calibrated?

One way would be to create virtual copies of the images to be printed, put them into a collection and apply the additional exposure settings to them. While printing, use the collection to select the images, so you know which ones are the "overexposed" ones.

I have the same problem because I cannot calibrate my printer correctly and I need to apply different color settings before printing the images.

Print a 4x6 at home. Create a JPG and print at a couple of printers (drug-store, lab, etc). Compare them. If they are all dark, you likely have you monitor wayyyy too bright. If your at home prints alone are dark, make sure you have the latest driver and try again. If still too dark, consider a virtual copy that is artificially brightened. I prefer to brighten with the tone curve rather than exposure or brightness as it gives me a better contrast on my result.
