I'm running LR 2.1 on Vista SP1, on a machine with 3 GB of RAM and 4'' GB of free hard drive space (on C:). I periodically receive the error message: "Your disk 'OS (C:)', which contains your Lightroom catalog, is critically low on space." And like I said, I have some 4'' GB of room on my disk. Exiting LR and coming back in usually makes the message go away, but any ideas as to why this would be happening? Anyone else get it?

(Before anyone asks, chkdsk comes up clean.)

First thing to check: Is your trash can empty? For some reason, Lightroom do not like full trash cans.

Oh, was about to pass by! WELCOME to the forums Ken!

It is suggested that you write the infos that you use LR2.1, Vista (32 or 64?) etc in your signature. You can take examples from others looking at the bottom of their messages or mine. Do to so, simply go to the User Control Panel (User CP) link in the blue bar above just under the LR logo...
