I have just started to add names. I'm starting with immediate family. In the Keywords People panel, Evelyn is in six photos, including 2 on 2019-08-05. IIf I click on the right arrow just to the right of Evelyn's name, all six photos are displayed in the Library Grid view. If I display just the 2019-08-05 folder in the Grid view, there are two photos. Both of these photos contain Evelyn. However, if I click on the people icon
12878
only one of the two photos is displayed.

What is happening here?

Phil

People and keywords are sometimes mixed up in LR. When you identify a person in LR, either automatically or manually, LR creates an area for the person, names the area and then adds the keyword to the photo. The first two operations are part of IPTC standard.

You can have a person's keyword in a photo without marking a rectangle around his/her face (no IPTC). The people panel only identifies those photos with "people" identified.

Check if on the missing photo there is a rectangle too and let us know.

Umberto,

You are right about the missing photo. It does NOT have a people rectangle. Can I add that rectangle?

Phil

Yes. See page 142 of the Missing FAQ PDF.
Jim,
Thanks. I don't know how I missed that parapgraph #11 in Victoria's book. Of course, Victoria's instructions worked perfectly.
