Importing twice from same Folder

I rate approx 50 photos 5 star in Photomechanic out of about 500 then import into Lightroom to do previews for customers.
Later I will want to edit the rest of the photos in Lightroom so go back to Photomechanic to 5 star the rest I want to work on.
Can I open the original LR folder I created and import these in addition to the ones I have already worked on rather than have to do a completely new import?

Yes, you can import from a folder as many times as you want. You just need to do the selection of the images manually. Lightroom can help you not import those images that are already imported, but if you do not want to import all the others, then you have to select which ones you do want to import, and which ones you still do not want to import.
