Hi all -- new to Lightroom --
I'm switching over from Photoshop Elements to Lightroom/CS3 (soon to be CS4, I hope). When I hook up my camera to import pictures from my memory card, by default, Elements pops up as the importer. If I cancel out of Elements and try to import from the camera in Lightroom, Lightroom crashes (this has happened a couple of times). Outside of that, I have no trouble using Lightroom, and if I import through PSE then go to Lightroom and import the folder from my hard drive, no problem.
Any ideas on how I can get Lightroom to be the default importer from my camera? I want to keep PSE on the computer, because my daughter uses it still. Every now and then a menu pops up from the computer, asking me what I want to use to import, and PSE appears on that, but Lightroom doesn't. If relevant, I'm using a Canon Rebel XT.
Gaakh -- too much photo stuff on my computer! Thanks for any help --
