Importing Dated Folder

Thanks in advance for any insight.

1. Imported some photos and for some reason they had the wrong date in the meta data. Brought in as 6-19-'9 instead of 6-2'-'9.
2. Redated meta data so they read 6-2'-'9
3. Made a folder in the FINDER not LR called "2''9-6-2'" (reflecting how LR makes folders) in my main 2''9 lightroom catalog on my external drive.
4. Put my 6-2'-'9 pictures into the "2''9-6-2'" folder in the FINDER.
5. How do I have LR recogize the "2''9-6-2'" folder?

I've attached a screenshot of my folder structure. All these folders are under a "2''9" main folder.

Either the photos or the folder in question should show a '?' icon.
Either right click on the folder ? or single click on the photo ?, and you should be given a chance to navigate to the new location. When re-linked OK, verify it's empty, and remove the mistaken folder.

You could have just control clicked the folder name in the library and renamed it there which would have updated the finder name as well.
I think you would be best to rename the folder where the files now are to the same name as the catalog and then relocate then rename the folder in LR using the crtl click access.
