Import Import Renaming and Sequence Numbering

Hi any help?
Is it not possible, in Lightroom, to custom rename sequences of images with leading zeros i.e. 001, 002.... 010... 099... 164 and so on?
It always defaults to 1, 2, ...10 etc. (it is like Excel, which does not recognise leading zeros either!)
(It is possible to batch rename sequences with leading zeros in Bridge!)
