Hello All,
I upgraded to LR2 yesterday all seemed ok, but did not use it for long. Today, I tried to change from Library module to develop and it stopped responding. Then after rebooting I tried to import - chose file, nothing happened system seemed to freeze. Tried Task manager to close programme and had msg - cannot close, programme waiting for a response. There was no pop up window or anything, so I tried again, chose file, nothing happened until I pressed the return key. Not only did it upload the file, but also another file I had not specified from another drive. I tried to stop import and Lightroom crashed again.
I removed LR2 using remove programs in Control panel, did a search and removed anything relating to LR 2 catalogue, rebooted, downloaded again, installed and still have the same problem.
I know I have missed something as on the initial installation, I had to enter serial number for LR2 and number from LR 1.4. I was asked for neither of these on my subsequant installations.
I still have LR1.4 on the computer.
