Import no longer an option

I am using 2.2 and just recently it has stopped importing at all. I still have the import button and drop down option, it still opens a window for browsing but when I click on the "Import All Photos In The Selected Folder" it does nothing, no new window, nothing but returns to the LR Library module.
I've checked for new updates,I am current. I'm stymied. Any suggestions?

John, Welcome to the Forums, find a list of standard trouble-shooting steps here.

If that doesn't get you going, please ask back.

And it would help if you described the exact situation, import from Camera? Card Reader? Harddrive? System, Mac/PC, etc. Stuff like that. :)
