Import metadata preset. Subsitute filename in title field?

Is there a parameter i can use to substitute the filename into the title field in the import metadata preset creation? e.g. IPTC Title: {filename} (which doesn't work).

Otherwise all my imports say SONY DSC.

ftm are there any other such parameters and where do I look thes up?

John Beardsworth has a Plugin that will transfer info from one metadata field to another. This will let you transfer the filename field into the title field.
