Import from device backup option

[ATJ-renamed]

I would like to request the capability to backup imported files when I import from a device (CF card) and be able to specify that I don't want Lightroom creating subdirectories that I don't want. I do not want Lightroom creating a subdirectory: "Imported on day, date month year".

Agreed. Please fill out an official Adobe feature request form!

I have filled it out. Thanks.
