Import folder date format flexibility

I would love to be able to change the import folder date format used by LR. I have several hundred folders that use the date format MM_DD_YY, but LR uses MM-DD-YY. I'd love to be able to change this to match all my other folders.

Still no Folder Format Flexibility?

It is now December 2''8 and apparently this feature is not implemented in ver 2.2. :frown:
Some much less expensive applications have this capability.

Yes that is true and the same applications may not have some of the other capabilities of LR.

you can edit the import template settings and have a string like you describe, or any other combinations. In the import photos dialog, choose 'edit' in the template selector.
insert Date MM. insert a _, insert Date DD and so on

I live nearby Aarhus in Jutland, the peninsula north of Germany
