When I got my new Olympus system a couple of years ago I eventually realised I needed to import the images into Lightroom using a different camera profile (Camera Natural) or they would look dreadful (Adobe standard). I didn't realise it at the time but after I updated my PC last June the import reverted to Adobe Standard and I compensated for this while processing.

Now I can't remember how to change the import camera profile back to Camera Natural, and I'm wondering if I can backdate the change in some way, or do a batch change for each folder, rather than each file individually.

Can someone advise, please?

To batch change: Select all images, go to the Develop Module, click on the small switch on the left of the 'Synchronize' button to change it to Auto Sync and then change the camera profile. Don't forget to switch off Auto Sync again afterwards, just to be safe.

To set a profile as camera default: Select an image in the Develop Module, set the camera profile to what you want and make sure no other adjustments are made (unless you want these in your camera default too). Then select 'Save New Camera Defaults' from the Develop module (could be in a different place with a slightly different name, Lightroom 6 is very old so I do not have a copy to check this).

Thanks very much. The help I've had from this forum has been invaluable!

I found how to save the new profile as follows -

Develop module > Develop > Set default settings > Set default develop settings.
