Hi All,
I am having a few issues with Lightroom 1.4.1 on Vist Ultimate 64bit. I have been using Lightroom since the end of 2''7 without any problems. However, I have recently upgraded to version 1.4.1 which keeps crashing. I did not notice the problem before, however, it may have been happening prior to 1.4.1.
On certain images, some JPEG's, when I import it causes Lightroom to crash with the messge "adobe photoshop lightroom has stopped working". Note, RAW files are not affected at all. Then when I re-open Lightroom it crashes immediatly. If I delete the offending photo it opens fine. Also, if I open the photo in Photoshop and re-save it, it has no issues. This is happening with a large portion of my images so opening and re-saving is not a practical solution.
I have checked the file for viruses and get none. Are there any other things I should be checking for in the images, or is it a bug in Lightroom. I assume scince I can open the file in other editors that it is a bug...
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Nick
