I have LR classic 11 2021 on my iMAC in with thousands of images and collections. I have an iPad Air 4 gen and signed into LR mobile for the first time ever just now. Strangely, 40 images that I worked on last night on the iMac and saved to a new collection appeared in Lightroom when I opened the mobile app for the first time. Why just these and no previous collections please and also how do I download them as an album onto the iPad in iPad photos please?

There are two places that Lightroom Classic uses to sync images to the Adobe cloud. One is a standard Collection with syncing turned o for the collection. There is a little gray on gray double arrow icon to the left of the Collection name. The other is a special collection in the Catalog panel. It is named “All Synched Photographs”. It contains all of the images in the syncing collections plus any not in a collection that you may have assigned to “All Synched Photographs” via drag and drop.
