Hi,
I wonder if there's a way to configure LR to show the quick collection, or target collection instead of the filmstrip. In a similar way to the image basket pane in ACDSee.
This would be very useful if this is possible.
Cheers

No, sorry, that is not possible.

I'm not familiar with ACDsee, but when I searched for "image basket" on the web, the one picture I saw showed the Image Basket as a single filmstrip running horizontally at the bottom of the window.

In Lightroom, you will get that same look if the Filmstrip is open and you select the Quick Selection in the Catalog pane on the left, or when you choose File > Show Quick Collection (or press its keyboard shortcut). Because the Filmstrip always shows the contents of the current source. If Quick Collection is the current source, it's what's in the Filmstrip.

Is that what you're looking for, to have the Quick Collection running across the bottom?

The problem is that the Quick Collection will only be running across the bottom in the film strip if you actually select it. I assume that the OP wants to see the Quick Collection in the film strip, while the grid is showing some other collection or some folder.

Yes, I do. Shame if not.
