Is there an idiots guide on post shot processing?

I've just got myself into Digital photography (eg bought an SLR camera) and I see lots of people talking about curves/sharpening but I dont' know the context.

I've got the trial of lightroom (eg because of the trial period) and I would like to play.

And once you start to get a feel for how LR basically works, a handy guide to how to do everything is found in Victoria Bampton's Ebook, Lightroom, The Missing FAQ. While this is not an introductory 'Getting-Started' type of guide, it is a quite authoritative 'How-to', once you get your feet wet, and start thinking "Hmm, how can I ....?"

Just Google 'Victoria Bampton' or 'LightroomQueen'. She is, by a wide margin, the most prolific contributor on these forums.

ROFL I took it to mean sleep too Brad, but then I haven't had enough sleep to notice if he didn't!!! :D

Yes, I meant SLEEP!! I have to be nice to Victoria and Sean - they fill in for my brain when I am using LR and its not fully engaged! But that troublemaker Brad is a whole other story! :mrgreen:
