Identity plates

Hi folks, can anybody please help. I want to be a able to batch convert to max res JPEGS with the my ID Plate
I have recently bought LR 2 (upgraded to 2.4 when registered).
I have added an ID plate but I only seem to be able to add it in the Slideshow section. When this converts to JPEGS they are relatively low resolution. I want to be a able to batch convert to max res JPEGS with the my ID Plate.
I'm sure I'm doing somethng wrong but not sure what!
Any feedback is welcome.

jgilmore, welcome to the forums.

Two ways to approach this:
You can add an identity plate in the Print module, and use the print to file function, where you can more or less choose an output size and quality.

Have a look at Tim Armes LR2/Mogrify, which is at present, the full featured tool of choice for this function. Note that its processing power comes from the open-source package ImageMagick.

As you've discovered, Lr's inbuilt tools in this area are a bit rudimentary. Better things are expected in Lr3.x. Time will tell.
