Identity plate in hi-res

I'm not sure this has been implemented already, but I'm adding this just in case. So if a moderator knows it's already there, slap my fingers and remove this message. :)

I love the idea with the identity plate, but why restrict the size to x amount of pixels? When making websites or slide shows, the identity plate then becomes very pixelated and looks butt ugly to be honest when showing in higher resolutions (on monitors larger than 15").

The ideal would be to allow to import a logotype/identity plate into the website or slideshow feature (beside the checkbox for using the identity plate) so you can use a higher resolution than the regular identity plate used in the top left of LR. That way I can brand my images how I want. And even cooler would be to be able to use it as a watermark (set an opacity over the image).

ETA: and the ability to resize the logo/identity plate to taste. Say import an eps-file would be awesome, as it's totally non destructive - beside the regular file format.

I believe you can oversize any graphical ID Plate you create. And then size as needed in Print. Seems Matt Kloskowski or Sean McCormack had a tutorial on this.

Hmm... Might have changed since I tried, as I couldn't use an eps file and when using a jpeg gave me an error message that the file was too big. Guess I have to do some digging.

Transparent TIFF or PNG is best. Size close or a little big. You may have to resize per size print. Do a preset for each size. I don't think you can mix sizes to pint anyhow.
