I may be cured !!

For a while now I have been suffering from an affliction called "must-use-the-same-aspect-ratio-when-cropping" itus. Any time I cropped or rotated I obsessively just had to maintain the same crop ratio as the original.

However, on my last few shoots I have managed to force myself to uncheck the "maintain aspect ratio" option and have been merrily cropping away creating all sorts of shapes and sizes.

So far I have suffered no side effects and consider that I might be cured.

Anyone have similar experience (or suffers similar symptoms) ??

No, I have "all sorts of shapes and sizes" itus . I figure no two pictures are alike so each one should have its own custom crop(if needed).

Until you go to the frame store! Standard crops are so much easier to frame (and to sell to portrait customers). For my own stuff, I crop to make the image strong-frames be hanged!
