I can't see images in LR

Good morning,
I just installed LR 2.2 in my new Vaio CR4 with Vista Home Premium (previously I had LR 2.' version on a Hp laptop with Xp home) and I can't see any preview of my pics. I imported the old catalogue and, at the end of the process,I could see only blank thumbs and blank images. The same happens If I import a new pic. I have the same problem when I try to open an image with the Vista viewer: in this case I can see the preview but they don't show up if I enlarge them.

Everything is fine if I use other viewers as Zoombrowser from Canon. I checked my graphic card -ATI mobility Radeon X23''- driver , but it works and I have the last version available. DOn't know what to do....

Hi Zaure, welcome to the forum!

Other thing to check is the monitor profile, which is often the blame for blank previews. Either recalibrate your monitor, or remove the profile and replace it with a standard sRGB profile to confirm whether that is the cause. Thanks for your kind reply, Victoria. It was a problem with my screen settings. I used calibrize 2 for a color calibration of my monitor and the software changed the default profile of the lcd. I uninstalled the sw and put the default lcd settings. LR works perfectly.

Still having problem with Windows Viewer though...

Depending on your file types, I believe Windows Viewer may need a custom codec to fully render a raw image, rather than extract a preview thumbnail.

I could be wrong, I haven't yet upgraded (?) to Vista. So I'm relying on second hand reading.
