Hung on import

I created a new ctalog and imported from my startup disk OK but now it has hung on one image only trying to import from my second HD ( which works fine AFAICS):shock:

just the usual. Itwas on my second HD, basically back ups ogf my RAw and .psd files

It got there eventually - i.e it was finshed when I got bback, I just left it to it, but there was this huge wait at the start -

That's an interesting idea sprale, what are you thinking will help? Optimize?
