How to upgrade LR CC?

When I get a notice that an upgrade is available for LR CC, I go to Help, click on Upgrades and the dialog tells me to close LR and then click continue. The trouble is that when I close LR, the dialog disappears and I can't find it without reopening LR and going through the same routine.
So, how do I maintain contact with the upgrade dialog?

The way to update Lightroom CC is different. Don't do it through the Lr application, go to the CC App in your menu bar and select Apps.
